One of my favorite episodes is “Where Silence Has Lease”, where an alien infiltrates the ship and impersonates Data in order to gain more knowledge and insight from the fleet. However, since Data’s one of the best characters (IMO), I prefer episodes where he’s himself.
Data: I have written a subroutine specifically for you. A program within the program. I have devoted a considerable share of my internal resources to its development.
